​Golden Otter Painting Ltd. was founded by two lifelong friends, Jarrid Calcutt and Evan Menon, who share a passion for craftsmanship, community, and creating spaces that feel like home.

 

After graduating from Conestoga College, Jarrid built a reputation across Norfolk County through his first business — Calcutt Home Services. His versatile handyman skills and attention to detail quickly made him a trusted name in home improvement. Over time, Jarrid realized that painting was more than just another trade — it was an art form that could transform entire homes and help others build meaningful careers.

 

Evan, meanwhile, returned home after completing his studies in Business Administration and Law.  Working for a local vehicle detailing business in between, his time leading detailing operations honed his eye for precision, quality control, and customer care — the same principles that drive every project at Golden Otter Painting today.

Over coffee one afternoon, the two friends decided to combine their expertise, work ethic, and love for the community. From that conversation, Golden Otter Painting Ltd. was born — a  business proudly local to  Norfolk County built on its community roots, professional integrity, and the belief that every home deserves a beautiful professional-grade finish.
